Hello, my name is Dylan I’m here to talk about the ZONUConnect RF over fiber transport for Optical Zonu for connecting BTS Systems with DAS Systems. We provide a full set of DAS trays as well as POI’s (Point of Interface) and we link those two with our four-channel optical fiber transport system. Okay now we’re going to take a look at a complete BTS fiber transport link complete with the POI’s and dit trays. At the fiber link here we can see the master side of a DIT transport system we have a poi connected to a transport chassis here now each transport chassis can support up to two POI’s and each poi can support up to two sectors. So here we see the individual UL (Uplink) and dl (Downlink) inputs for each channel band those get multiplexed and combined into the uplink and downlink for fiber transport that’s sent over the fiber link to this fiber transport chassis where they get demultiplexed out into the DIT (DAS Interface Tray) now the DIT outputs carry each individual signal for output to the das system. Now in terms of management, we have two different types of management options over here on the master side. We can see an s11 switch which can be built internally into the chassis or it can be external like this. Now each SNMP switch can support and manage up to 16 transport chassis and with those transport chassis we provide a rack mount USB hub. That hub can be used to connect all of these different transport chassis in a full rack to this one SNMP switch which then can be managed on the network either locally or on a wide area internet network. In terms of management we offer two different management systems we have a standard web server based login like you can see here which can be supported in chrome or any other web browser or we also offer a dedicated GUI system which runs our proprietary software which can perform all sorts of additional functions such as automatic component discovery and auto setting of attenuator levels. That sort of functionality provides you with a top level visual representation of your complete das system with all of the transport chassis and all the POIs and all the DIT parameters visualized. It is a very flexible system that can provide very useful and accurate top-level management. However, we also have a web-based gui also works very well, and gives you parallel functionality. Giving access to things like setting attenuator values, or for getting a reading of RF power levels. As you can see it’s a very flexible system for connecting BTS systems with remote das equipment. Some of the advantages of this type of equipment is that it allows you to co-locate all of your BTS equipment in one location. In terms of user access most of you understand how valuable that can be not having to send engineers and technicians all over the field trying to get access to different equipment lockers you can send a team to one location all of the das equipment can be where it belongs, and all the base station equipment can be co-located in one easy to access facility this can save a tremendous amount of money in terms of time and user access. The Optical Zonu ZONUConnect it provides a full range of BTS das fiber transport solutions
