Description
The Optical Zonu Tunable Delay Line is an EIA 310-D 19” 1.5RU chassis that accommodates up to five separately tunable optical delay elements. Each delay element has a delay tuning range of 0 – 660 psec. RF frequencies of 10 kHz to 50 GHz are supported.
Tunable Delay Line chassis may be configured several ways. Up to five independent delay plug-in modules (each with 660 psec tuning range) may be configured (each with optical I/O on the front of the chassis). Delay elements may also be cascaded to provide a single delay with tuning range on the order of 3.3 nsec.
The Tunable Delay Line Chassis may be monitored and controlled in a number of ways. Locally, status LEDs for each module are present on the front of the chassis.
There are multiple ways to monitor and control the Tunable Delay Line chassis remotely. Administrators can access the chassis via an SSH command line interface, a Web User Interface, and an embedded Optical Zonu graphical command and control interface. No external installed applications are required – just a standard web browser. The Tunable Delay Line chassis also supports SNMP v2 and v3.
Delays may also be controlled locally via manual up/down delay adjust buttons. The Tunable Delay Line chassis is powered by 12 VDC. For multimode options, please contact Optical Zonu.
